Eric Schmidt the Ex-Google CEO, won the auction for the superyacht which was abandoned in the Caribbean by the original Russian oligarch. The yacht got abandoned after the Ukraine invasion happened. Schmidt won the bid with a whopping $67.6Mn during the auction that took place on Friday.
It is an Alfa Nero Yacht which stands at a tremendous height of 267 feet.
The yacht had previously been owned by Guryev who had made a fortune in the industry of fertilizer and had bought the yacht for a massive amount of $120Mn back in the year 2014.
Ex CEO of Google whose net worth was valued previously at the “Bloomberg Billionaires Index” at $25Bn as of Friday, has won the auction in a transparent and fair process.
