President Joe Biden has been pushed by the leaders of the United Auto Workers union. It has been remarked in this week itself, with less possibility of a strike against Detroit automakers. The contract of negotiation remained at a stalemate.
MSNBC’s interview on Thursday said
“Morning Joe.”
UAW President Shawn Fain also asked as the reply to the remarks on Labor Day to Biden when asked whether he is worried about the strike of UAW.
In response to this, Biden said
“No, I’m not worried about a strike until it happens.”
The intention of the union was to reach an agreement with automakers, said Fain. He stated that
“One thing we’ve said from the outset is things are going to be as they always have been.”
He also added by saying
“The companies in past negotiations always have a tendency to drag things out until the very end and then they want to drop a bunch of stuff and just scramble. And I’ve told them from day one that we don’t intend to do things that way.”
