Google is now celebrating their long 25th anniversary this month. Sundar Pichai shared a fascinating story about how Google evolved in communication technology and how it changed the internet and its usability.
Pichai shared a nostalgic story about how he was excited by obtaining his first email address when he was a student in the United States and he wrote an email to his father. But to his surprise, the reply needed two full days to reach Sundar Pichai’s email that said “Dear Mr. Pichai, email received. All is well.”
Later Pichai found out that his father’s workplace had to print the mail out and then physically deliver it to his father. This short story reflects the differences between generations.
Now There is Google has changed the internet and how things need time to work and is celebrating its 25th anniversary. Who thinks computer genius Larry Page and Sergey Brin’s creation on September 4, 1998, could be that massive?
