Bruce Springsteen, E Street Band announced the postponement of the eight shows during this month as Springsteen is under medical treatment due to his health conditions. He announced this on his official website.
Springsteen turns 74 this month and is also being treated for the symptoms of peptic ulcer disease. His medical experts settled to delay the rest of September’s pending shows. In this post, Springsteen also said he and his band members are heartbroken due to this postponing situation.
He said
“First, apologies to our fabulous Philly fans who we missed a few weeks ago. We’ll be back to pick these shows up and then some,” he said. “Thank you for your understanding and support. We’ve been having a blast at our U.S. shows and we’re looking forward to more great times. We’ll be back soon.”
In the last month, Springsteen postponed two concerts in Philadelphia due to his unspecified illness. This decision affects other eight shows including Thursday’s concert performance of JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse, New York, and Oriole Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore’s Saturday performances.
Other postponed show news comes from Pittsburgh, Connecticut, Uncasville, Albany, Columbus, New York, Ohio, and Washington D.C.The new date and time will be announced by contacting the ticket buyers.
